Summer Infant Handheld Video Monitor

Against the advice of some of the baby books out there we went ahead and got the portable video monitor. We had some interference problems with the wireless but nothing that we could not overcome. We have never seen another baby on our video monitor but, again, we do not live close enough (apt.) to another baby to have a possible problem. I don't know that you would need to get the exact one that we got, I think that the key items are: video and then after that portable. Being a new mom, lights and sounds just did not feel like enough for me. I love being able to see baby and evaluate whether I need to go in or whether baby will fall back asleep on baby's own.
